My Study Audio
I chose “Make the Visible Invisible” by Alge because it helps me stay calm and focused while coding. Its soft, meditative rhythm reflects the atmosphere I want QuietNets to create.
About QuietNets
Hi, I’m Christina Ross, a CS student at Rutgers. I built QuietNets to make class sharing and organization calm, private, and accurate—no feeds, no distractions, just folders and files.
What QuietNets does
- • Organize class materials into private folders (Personal by default).
- • Join Networks (Personal, Business, University) to share selectively.
- • Toggle file visibility to make items public when you’re ready.
- • Clean search + saved items. No likes, comments, or infinite feeds.
Why I built it
Students need a quiet library for accurate examples—not another social app. QuietNets focuses on clarity, access control, and lightweight collaboration.

Highlights
Folders are private by default. Share to a network or keep it personal.
Organize by Personal, Business, or University. Filter the whole app by active network.
Find files fast with class tags and clean metadata—no noise.

My Inspirational Video
This talk by Anil Seth explores how our brains shape what we perceive. It reminds me why I built QuietNets—to give learners a calm, focused environment where they can see information clearly, without distractions.
I chose this video because it inspires me to work even when I may not feel like it. It pushes me to acheive my goals and become closer to the person I'm always striving to be.
